the Poppies are back

This poppy (le coqueclicot) was planted in one of the town's many flower beds and is already at its peak.  The large fields of wild ones are yet to arrive however.  But when they do, they will be spectacular.  Stay tuned.

  1. Très inspirant pour l'art textile, n'est-ce pas?

  2. Reminded me of the summer in the countryside and the fields of white poppies we saw. I can't wait for more!

  3. Si si si Anne, il s'agit toujours du tissu!

The wild poppies around here are generally red but the ones planted in the flower beds can be almost any color. I am partial to the wild ones because they follow the roads, the bike paths, everywhere you go.
